The room
Shark occupies a large hall on Trang Tien, minutes from Hoan Kiem Lake, the Opera House and the five-star hotels around them. Inside there is a long bar, a central dance floor and tiered VIP sections that look straight at the hologram stage. Lighting and sound were built so that every seat still works — which is a large part of why the club has kept a demanding crowd for years.
The clientele is Hanoi’s moneyed set, business travellers, models and tourists willing to spend. Drink and table prices are among the highest in the city, in exchange for professional bottle service and a room that is properly finished. If you want a cheap night or an underground techno basement, this is not it. If you want one polished night out in Hanoi, Shark is usually the first answer.

The programme runs on guest singers, Vietnamese and international DJs, and a dance crew, published weekly on the fanpage. 21 Trang Tien is a three-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and the Opera House, and about ten minutes from the Old Quarter. On weekend evenings the surrounding streets become pedestrian zones, so arriving by car needs extra time; walking or Grab is easier.
